The Volvo Dual-Stage Integrated Booster Cushion is a booster seat designed to raise the rear seat child passenger to create a better fit for seat belts. One of the key benefits of integrated booster cushions is that it is developed as a part of the seat and the safety belt is in more direct contact with the child's body, removing the possibility of slack in the seat belt. When not in use, the integrated safety seat is neatly stowed within the rear seat.

History of the Volvo Integrated Booster Cushion
Volvo says it developed the first booster cushion in 1978, but it wasn not until 1990 that they started integrating the booster cushion into its lineup. The first integrated booster was a redesigned center armrest which served to simply elevate the seating position of the child, better accommodating the existing 3-point seat belt.In 2007, Volvo introduced the integrated two-stage booster cushion, allowing children of varying height to be positioned correctly.
New for 2015, the Volvo XC90 offers comfort upholstery and head support for the integrated booster cushion.
Volvo Integrated Booster Cushion Settings
According to Volvo reports, the highest setting on the dual-stage booster seat is for children measuring 37" to 47" tall and weighing from 33-55 lbs; the lower setting is intended for children between 45" and 55" tall and 48-80 lbs.Perfect For Growing Families
