Program Description
Volvo Cars Ramsey offers its text message alert program (the "Program"), subject to these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms").
The Program allows participants to receive informational alerts, vehicle service reminders, appointment confirmations, dealership updates, special offers, and other communications that may be of interest. By providing your personal information when presented with a link to, or other notice of, these Terms, you agree to be bound by these Terms and consent to receive communications from Volvo Cars Ramsey, including text messages.
If you do not wish to continue participating in the Program or no longer agree to these Terms, you may reply STOP to any mobile message from Volvo Cars Ramsey to opt out of the Program.
User Opt-In
The Program allows users to receive SMS, MMS, and RCS mobile alerts by affirmatively opting in through methods such as:
- Submitting a form on our website.
- Providing your mobile number to a dealership representative.
- Scheduling service or requesting information from Volvo Cars Ramsey.
- Responding to a written or verbal call-to-action.
Regardless of how you opt in, you agree that these Terms apply.
By opting in, you agree to receive automated mobile messages, including informational and promotional communications. Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Cost and Frequency
Message and data rates may apply.
The Program may send recurring messages, and additional messages may be sent based on your interactions with Volvo Cars Ramsey.

User Opt-Out and Additional Commands
To opt out of receiving mobile messages, reply STOP to any message. You may receive a confirmation message after opting out.
If you later choose to opt back into recurring alerts, your participation will again be subject to these Terms, including any future modifications.
MMS / RCS Messaging
If your device or carrier does not support MMS or RCS, messages will be delivered as SMS.
For RCS-enabled devices, enhanced features may include:
- Rich media (images/videos)
- Video thumbnails
- Improved message rendering
- Delivery and read indicators, to the extent supported
Dealership Warranty Disclaimer
Volvo Cars Ramsey is not liable for delays or failures in message delivery. Delivery depends on your wireless carrier, network reliability, and device capabilities.
If you are dissatisfied with the Program, your sole remedy is to discontinue participation.
Privacy Policy
Information you provide in connection with the Program is used to operate and deliver messaging services and is subject to our Privacy Policy.

We may disclose your information when required by law or as necessary to operate the Program, including sharing limited data with service providers for message routing and delivery.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy between you and Volvo Cars Ramsey, or between you and any third party acting on Volvo Cars Ramsey's behalf in connection with the Program, arising out of or relating to federal or state statutory claims, common law claims, these Terms, Volvo Cars Ramsey's Privacy Policy, or the breach, termination, enforcement, interpretation, or validity thereof, including the determination of the scope or applicability of this arbitration agreement, such dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator.
The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and conducted virtually. The AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules in effect at the time arbitration begins shall apply. The arbitrator will apply the substantive law of the State of New Jersey, excluding its conflict of law principles. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking provisional remedies from a court located in New Jersey in support of arbitration.
The parties acknowledge that this Agreement involves interstate commerce. Accordingly, the Federal Arbitration Act (9 U.S.C. §§ 1-16) governs any arbitration conducted pursuant to these Terms. Either party may initiate arbitration by providing written notice to the other party describing the dispute and the relief requested.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all proceedings, whether in arbitration or in court, shall be conducted solely on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action. If any claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, each party knowingly and irrevocably waives any right to a trial by jury. You also agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey.
The arbitrator may award monetary damages and any other remedies permitted by applicable law but may not modify any provision of these Terms. The arbitrator shall issue a written decision, which shall be final and binding upon the parties. Any award may be confirmed or enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Each party shall initially pay one-half of the arbitrator's fees and expenses, court reporter costs, and arbitration facility fees. The prevailing party may recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs as determined by the arbitrator, with opposing awards offset where appropriate.
The parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of the arbitration proceeding, hearing, and award, except as necessary to prepare for arbitration, enforce an award, seek preliminary judicial relief, or as otherwise required by law. Documentary evidence produced during arbitration shall likewise remain confidential unless publicly available or independently obtained.
Miscellaneous
You represent and warrant to Volvo Cars Ramsey that you possess all necessary rights, authority, and legal capacity to accept these Terms and fulfill your obligations. Nothing contained herein shall place you in breach of any other agreement or obligation.
The failure of either party to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be modified only to the extent necessary so that the remainder of these Terms remains in full force and effect.
Any new features, enhancements, or improvements to the Program shall be subject to these Terms unless otherwise stated in writing. Volvo Cars Ramsey reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants, and continued participation in the Program after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You further represent that you will not provide Volvo Cars Ramsey with a telephone number that is not assigned to you. If your telephone number changes, you agree to promptly notify Volvo Cars Ramsey so that your prior number may be removed from the Program.
