What's The Valerie Fund You May Ask?
In case you don't know, The Valerie Fund has been helping families who are dealing with a child with cancer and blood disorders in New Jersey since 1976.
Named in honor of 9-year-old Valerie Goldstein, the not-for-profit organization provides medical care, counseling and other important services to over 4,000 kids and their families annually.
The Valerie Fund has 7 Children's Centers for Cancer and Blood Disorders locations in major hospitals in NJ, NY and the Philly area. There, sick kids can receive state-of-the-art outpatient health care that's close to their home, so they won't have to stress over traveling. You can also visit their website to donate directly to them if you wish.
