3 Fun & Functional Engines
When you shop for a 2019 Volvo S60 at our dealership serving the Bergen County NJ area, you have 3 engine choices depending on the trim you choose. The first 2 are familiar options, with the T5 turbocharged Drive-E engine increasing 10 horses to 250 hp and the T6 turbo & supercharged Drive-E engine upping the power by 14 horses to 316 hp.
The third option is new for 2019 and replaces the formerly available diesel engine in Volvo’s effort to electrify more of their vehicles and looking into a future beyond the traditional combustion engine. That engine is the T8 Twin-Engine Plug-in Hybrid that combines a 313-hp Drive-E engine with an 87-hp rear electric motor for a more efficient ride.
The T5 is only offered with FWD, but AWD is offered as an option for both the T6 and T8 engines.

The 2019 Volvo S60 joins the all-new XC40 in being offered as part of the Care by Volvo program. That means you can make all-inclusive monthly payments that cover insurance, service and maintenance for a set period of time, which is similar to how your cell phone plan works.
